Chicago, IL - The Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (SRAL) has teamed up with Digitimer to enhance their pioneering and leading research on Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and other human ability advancements.
Digitimer has recently placed multiple DS7R electronic stimulators and D188 Remote Electrode Selectors (RES) at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab (SRAL) in Chicago, IL. The DS7R offers up to 1 amp of electrical stimulation with a 400V compliance voltage. Combined with multiple pulse duration settings, the DS7R is very versatile and user friendly. The D188 RES allows for one stimulator to be used with multiple electrode sites for additional utility in the research laboratory.
SRAL is a leading research center for spinal cord injury, stroke, brain injury and other debilitating injuries/conditions. Headed by world renowned researcher and specialist, Monica Perez, Ph.D., SRAL will use these and other Digitimer devices (including the modular NeuroLog system) to further explore advancing cures and therapies that affect so many people worldwide and offers hope to those that suffer from these ailments.
